How to take care of a 2 inch turtle?

Please don't say I shouldn't have a 2 inch turtle that it is illegal and it probably has salmonella Imold enough and im going to use plastic gloves when im holding it and wash my hands. So the food I got is Aquatic Turtle Food thathat'sr turtles 2 inches or less and the plastic thing I got is for 2 inch turtles too so im good on that. But do I need a light for the turtle to bask in or no and does it need a shelter? and is it ok to put rocks in the aquarium there are rocks that you usausuallyt in water....and how long do they live for? anyanythingse that oyuYoun tell me would be great...
