Do you think the UK taxes are too high?

I have never grumbled about the tax rates because we are fairly well taken care of in England. As one gets older and suffers from ill-health, it becomes more obvious as the NHS starts to take care of us. I have a state pension and my grandchildren receive an education, so I'm am fairly happy with the situation, as opposed to the way things could be if people didn't pay their taxes.
