Transport mechs......Which one does not require a channel and which one does not requires a membrane?

I have Filtration for does not require a selectively permeable membrane and Simple diffusion for does not require a protein channel. Am I correct? (In regards to pive transport) Also should a IV solution be hypotonic or isotonic? I have Isotonic
