Cool things to do in New York in March?

we are from the UK and will be visiting the city from the 19th of march for 5 days we are looking for unusual things to do, my husband isn't into art and museums, also we are staying at the New Yorker hotel and want to find good restaurants and cool things to do in the evening close by
