Where can I find a good airfare/hotel combo package for a trip to NYC?

I have checked many common known sites (expedia, hotwire, priceline, etc) but I've read alot of complaints about people paying on such sites and then arriving to find out that their hotel room is not booked. Can someone who uses these sites or any sites like these on a regular basis give me some info?
