that ticking sounds like an over heating issue id get that checked out by a techie as for anti vir you can turn it down a notch in the settings if its bugging you. but if its constantly appearing it measns that something you have blocked keeps wanting access or something that shouldnt be there wants access so try doing a sweep and checking through blocked or quarantined items.
