What do you think about my synopsis of Christianity?

Doubtful. The largest fly in your ointment is that for most of two centuries after Paul, Christianity continued to be an outlaw cult. It only came to be wedded to civil authority during the reign of Constantine. Now, if you want to say that the Bishops closest to Constantine, like Eusibius, when recommending what should be considered canon, chose to highlight Paul's writing because it could be interpreted to foster state control and obedience, I might buy it. How else can one explain that letters concerning organizational minutia come to be on par with the reputed quotes from JC himself?
