How can I find an Exotic Animal Rescue to possibly take a large Iguana in Tampa, FL?

My in-laws have a knack for adopting exotic animals. For the most part they have been excellent care givers but since a mate of an iguana ped the iguana has been harder to handle and care for. He does bite and they fear this is what is making it impossible to find a new home for him. I find it hard to believe a rescue would not take him. They're considering taking him to a park/wild-life reserve and releasing him there if they do not find a place (which I believe is even worse)! I really want to help in finding him a good home. I would take him myself, but I have a 2 year old daughter and it's just not do-able for us. He's a beautiful creature and I would be heart-broken if I didn't know he was in good hands. Any suggestions?
