Fahrenheit 451 q?

i have read the book and the line says and again so maybe the character feels guilty or nervous because he is talking to an old man. Whoever this old man is he probably knows something that shouldn't be told. Or maybe the character is just making excuses to not keep his secrecy about having books. The cold wind could be his consience.
