Are my commas in the right place in the following sentance?

"Finally to the northwest, dispite the lack of water and good soil, they would have been able to grow plants that thrive in the simi-arid conditions such as the edible nopal cactus, which is very rich in vitamins and minerals, and the maguey which, among other uses, can be used to produce mezcal." So do I need to shift any commas around or not?
